Welcome to our Website
Exceptional Student Education

The School of Arts and Sciences believes that all children need a quality education.  Based upon our respect for diversity and appreciation of differences, the School of Arts and Sciences offers the full inclusion model of education.

In this model, serving children with social, physical, speech and learning differences is an integral part of the regular classroom program.  Exceptional Student Education services are carried out by professional ESE teachers and related support personnel with the full cooperation and collaboration of trained and informed regular classroom teachers.

Individual Education plans and 504 Accommodation plans are developed with the collaboration of parents / guardians, regular and special education teachers, related support personnel and administrators.

Our ESE staff includes one Speech and Language Pathologist, two ESE teachers serving kindergarten thorough 8th grade students, one Gifted Education teacher and two ESE Specialists who work with individual ESE students.
