PTSA Meet Wednesday Night: October 17, 6:15pm at SAS

Thank you to the new families who have submitted your PTSA Tier Membership form and donation!

Please join the 2012-2013 PTSA by downloading the PTSA Membership Form and submitting to the office or to a PTSA board member. PTSA offers various membership levels. Please see the membership form for details.

PTSA needs you to share your time and talents! Please complete the PTSA Volunteer Form to let us know how you would like to be involved. Volunteer hours contributed at PTSA events can be used to fulfill your two-hour monthly volunteer requirement.

 

 Dragon's Lair


UPDATE: The Dragon's Lair has added new gear this year. Pencils for $0.25 and Hoodies for $25.00! What a deal!

Get ahead on your holiday shopping! Order by November 2 to recieve your gear by the holidays. See left side bar menu for order forms. Hoodies available on separate order form.

This is the logo that will be on t-shirts, water bottles, and other items from the Spirit Store.

PTSA Student Involvement Coordinator

PTSA plans to engage students at each meeting by assigning tasks that support SAS and the PTSA.

Time Requirement: 2-3 hours per month

Duties: Attend PTSA meetings. Identify and assemble projects for students to complete at PTSA meetings. For example, process the Box Tops and Campbell’s Soup labels, plan Spirit Nights, make posters to advertise yearbook sales. Guide students through project.

Labels for Education
We are collecting Labels for Education (sometimes called Campbell’s Labels for Education). Labels for Education equal athletic and academic materials for our school. We recently used lots of points to get new playground balls. PTSA ordered the new playground balls using points from Labels for Education. Please continue to send in these labels, so we can continue doing great things for our school! Earn Box Tops for Education for SAS when you shop online!

If you are planning any upcoming online purchases, please consider earning Box Tops for Education (BTFE) at the same time. It costs you nothing additional, and our school benefits from these purchases when you enter the participating store’s website through the BTFE Marketplace. Here are the directions:

1.       Go to the marketplace (bookmark this site): https://www.boxtops4education.com/earn/marketplace/Default.aspx

2.      Click on “See All marketplace Stores

3.      Choose the store you want to shop at by clicking “Shop and Earn”

4.      You will be prompted to login, using your username and password (To become a member : https://www.boxtops4education.com/common/Register.aspx?WT.ac=FMA_JoinUs, you will choose School of Arts and Sciences as your school)

5.      Complete your online purchase like you normally would

6.      In a day or so, you should receive an email (subject: Box Tops for Education | Marketplace Order Status), that thanks you for your recent online purchase, and indicates the amount your earned for the School of Arts and Sciences
